Yes, broom is a type of plant (Genista and Cytisus, I think), but the parasitic growth might be what is intended? Either works.

Well now chrise & malone, all I can say is many thanks lads.

Today I've learned something new. Pomeroy and Horus.

My Irish wife and I arrived here from Cape Town in 1998 and like many 'blow-ins', we traveled all over this great little Country visiting every County including Tyrone, yet I can't recall Pomeroy.

To improve my English I do battle with Irish Times Crosaire most days, sadly with mediocre results. I'm wondering if either of you do likewise.

To your health,

Basil
