I've completed this but I can't parse 10a, 21a, part of 24a, 3d or 11d (which I've parsed but don't fully understand the clue). So any hints re the parsing (no spoilers please) would be most welcome......maybe later in the day.

Enjoyed the theme but thought there were one or two obvious words that could also have been included.

Thanks guys. I meant 2d not 3d. My clue for 11a is the one liz has put above - I understand the wordplay just not the definition or the square brackets.

Cheers

I'm really hating this! Just a few left, though

22a Small, once trendy dog (4)

I'm thinking of a dog that featured on Blue Peter about 50 years ago. Is this right?

I had the same trouble with 11d. It's now been replaced online by a completely different clue: Something pussy guiltily ate: two starters then a partly gutted fish.
Which works well.
2d is a triple definition, I think.

chrise: re 22ac. Yes. Wordplay works, and it fits with the rather odd unannounced secondary theme.

Weird! I'd guessed an answer to 11d from the definition and context; someone earlier claimed to have parsed it from the original clue. I'd be interested what that parsing was!

Though in fact 40, not 50 years ago (to my relief, as I feared I must have aged 10 years overnight).
