Hello,
I've solved this clue (it's from a book of Daily Telegraph cryptics) but I don't fully understand it:

Score went in the Oriental heard (6)

The answer is TWENTY. I understand that a "score" is 20, and that "went" is inside the answer, but I don't understand the "Oriental heard" element. Can anyone help?

TY sounds like "Thai". Poor clue, though, as it's not pronounced like that in "twenty".
