Sorry, I missed the (3,5) bit in your message. I think SEA WATER is probably a much better answer as it's also a source of wave energy and tidal energy.

I have discovered this thread, on this site, while searching for the "just for fun, guess the object" page as mentioned in the NT magazine.
I have to say I am really peeved that my husband and I put plenty of effort into solving this National Trust crossword competition entry for a prize worth £500, when I now find I could have come on here and had everyone else do it for me!

Yes but I am sure that you both really enjoyed putting in the effort rather than relying on somebody else to complete it for you.
