Happy New Year, everyone!
Need to answer 25 Across, the clue for which is:-
"Back pocket briefly containing prime breathing aids" (5)
I have A-E-S and, as far as I can see, these letters are correct.

Pocket - steal briefly and backwards with first letter of briefly abets?

First letter of breathing, sorry

abets (aids)
b(ack)
inside "stea(L) - pocket briefly
a b ets

oops
AB is correct

Many thanks, AB and Jazzgirl! That one had me - there I was thinking of something along the lines of "gill"" and "lung" which was far removed from the eventual answer!
