Prefer explanations please as to how you arrived at the answer. Here goes.....lots to do and can't parse them!
A) Enliven wise-sounding naval organiser (5) P*P**
B) Faerie Queene's hurt dandy in silence (5) **A*H. Is it scath? If so, why?
C) Certainly ancient hollow tree exists (4) Y*I*. YWIS means certainly but I don't understand the tree part of the clue.
D) Drink left for Erik The Red? (4) *A*L.
E) Blow up, like most of the others...(3) P*R. Is it par,per,pir,por,pur or pyr? It must be one of those....LOL
F) Entrances at Ibrox, definitely protecting those who shun Scotch. (5) Y*T*S.
G) Cape in light blue (4) *A*Y. Is it racy? Never heard of a Cape Racy.
H) A performance that might get one carried away? (3). I've put "GIG" but I think it's wrong!
I) My brain hurts.....time for another glass of wine. P.S. that is not a crossword clue!

I'd started to send in a cri-de-coeur on this yesterday, but somehow it failed to arrive. Never seen anything quite so abstruse in all my cross-wording. Hopefully this will give me a start, but I still wonder what brainbox could have conceived this puzzle.
