Just a problem parsing one clue. Former line introducing discussion put back in paper? 6 letters: sure it is rewrap but why?

...alternatively REW (Spenserian form of row, ie former [word for]line) preceding RAP (a discussion), the definition being 'put back in paper'

yes that's better, just picked up rew /rue/row in Chambers

Thanks all- as a long time railway enthusiast I am ashamed to say I missed this railway-was looking for Great Western . I am amazed that Mr Crowther has such a detailed knowledge of railways let alone cruciverbalism.
