I'm struggling with the parsing for these, help much appreciated.....

5d Edge held by companion (4) - INCH (Edge)

Companion = CH but I can't think of an example where 'Held' or 'Held by' can be substituted for IN.

18a Light shows mass in space almost fades away (8) - COMEDIES (Light shows)

I assume 'Mass' = M and 'Fades away' = DIES but I can't get the rest.

Yes 'In' - Held by as in contained + CH (Companion of Honour)


Comedies - Light shows

Come(t) dies
