56a. End in sight, dear old fruit! (7)

This could be ... T (end letter of 'sight') + ANGEL ('dear', term of endearment) + O (abbreviation for 'old') making, as you have, TANGELO.

Many thanks for all your replies.
The last ones I am unsure of are 33A- Flip Over Lid?
and 50A- Rigatoni?
Thank you in anticipation...

I think it is "Flip ONES Lid". IE Lose ones temper, (also, push the pedal on a pedal bin and its lid flips open).
50a. fix = rig(fix a fight). A Lot = A ton.
