I think I know what the theme should be, but can't get unsolved words to fit.

Also, not familiar with theme, so don't know about adopted roles.

the 2nd I and the B in your 3rd row are wrong.
Assuming you have the theme, the Wiki entry gives you everything you need should you need to refer to it.

Hi again crackabilly, if you "guess" the professions and Google them in a list (you probably don't need them all) you should be directed there.

I can't find the changed role of the tailor in the grid??

It's not as straightforward as the others - it follows a more curved route. Hope this helps.
