Hi Anne,

Two speculative suggestions.

The first one may be something to do with a cataract which means 'waterfall.'

The Biblical description of the garden of eden says :

Now a river flowed out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it divided and became four rivers. The name of the first is Pishon; it flows around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. The name of the second river is Gihon; it flows around the whole land of Cush. The name of the third river is Tigris; it flows east of Assyria And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

The more intelligent among us may have better solutions.

Blessings.

Thanks for your research into the Garden of Eden, had looked up a very similar item but seem to to be getting no nearer an answer.
All other answers in the quiz have just been a general noun not any particular place. I already have an answer river that i think I want to stick with for another question.
Any further thoughts please

Thanks joker for the explanation.
I can see where you are coming from but still in doubt as I still seem to think I am looking for a general noun not a plave.
Examples of others ansers I have just to demonstrate
spring/ lake/river/sea/ kettle

Could the answer be as simple as A DAM,which certainly is connected to water?

I am sure that could be the answer Joker.
I cannot believe I missed that because I had thought early on of adams ale (water). Should have followed that thought through more.

Thanks again
