Finished, I think, but one unparsed - could anyone point me in the right direction, please?

I have a surgical instrument used for scraping. It fits the crossers, but....

I think we have the same answer. I can't parse it either but it's the only one that fits. Sorry i can't be more help.

Thanks for asking the question on 24 as I was unparsed too - now I've got!

All finished bar 13a - following the wordplay ( as I've understood it) gives me a word that doesn't exist. So I'm obviously wrong - any hints?
