With reference to my initial post it now looks as if 9 down is The Winter's Tale though what it has to do with Greene I have no idea Also 15 down is now A?B?T?O?O which could possibly be ABBATTONO but again I cannot see why

I found this
The main source for The Winter’s Tale is a story by Robert Greene called Pandosto which dates from 1588.
