most of Lake - Com(o) + b (heading of Bank)

COMB - most of lake COM(o) and heading for B(ank)

TESSERAE - anagram

LINACRE - L(ecturers) IN ACRE

Thanks all. Must confess Linacre college was a new one on me, and I thought I knew Oxford. Oh well!

I think you got spelling of fuchsia mixed up which caused the problem but solutions above correct
