"Steaming after the last of this" (4)

S- O -

Could be "SHOT", word play on steaming =drunk, but unsure.

Any one help with parsing, please?

Rossim has it.
Is this also an "&lit" clue where the whole clue is the definition.
Steaming meaning extremely drunk, which you would be after the last shot !

There was a ? at the end of the printed clue which would indicate "&lit"
