Left with one to do. 7a Annual check-up provided with emblem, ?o?i?. I think I know the answer as I can see the annual check-up but can't see where the last 2 letter come into it.

Not a great example, but all I can come up with!

I have an answer for 1d, Boulders get smelly but are very sturdy.
My letters are *O*K *O*I*
The first 5 letters of my answer match 'boulders', and my complete answer matches 'very sturdy', but where does 'smelly' come into it?
It would need to match the O*I* part of the answer the way I have read the clue.
(Deliberately not given my answer, to avoid spoiling it for anyone looking for help but not answers)

The last 4 letters = a synonym for smelly
