Is there really such a word as "brusquer"?
I would have thought it to be "more brusque" ?

Chambers online gives - "brusque adj (brusquer, brusquest) said of a person or their manner, etc: blunt and often impolite; curt."

Thank you , AB - I looked in my Chambers but couldn't find a comparative.
It sounds clumsy? I wonder how long it has existed as such.
