1a Tinned mutton, and after sweet, nothing at all (5,5)

I have the answer (won't say yet, in case it's a spoiler for someone), but don't get the 'tinned mutton' part of the parsing. Can someone help?

Otherwise, I'm done.

I think it's just another definition.

fanny adams
n
1. (usually preceded by sweet) absolutely nothing at all. Often shortened to: f.a., FA or SFA
2. chiefly nautical (formerly) tinned meat, esp mutton

Sweet Fanny adams was Royal Navy slang for tinned mutton. She was I believe a murder victim?

I've just read the sad and awful tale of what happened to her, and why the sailors called the new tinned mutton Fanny Adams. Horrific.

Thanks all.

Meanwile ...

NT = National Trust (conservationists)
