Finished this except for two which I cannot get- would welcome some help!
14 down- change of a desire is something seen in Bronte (9)
Sounds like an anagram-
I have ?i?e?e???
The only word that fits seems to be ninepence if the definition is change .
But it seems to relate to Bronte? I am going round in circles!!!
And then relative without a release -which could be uncle but if so why?

Looks like an anagram of a desire is - a mark found in the word Bronte (not the way I've written it)

Think of the female counterpart of uncle (diminutive) - remove a- get word for release?

Thank you! The 14 down was a new word for me! I love how tricky clues can be!
