No one posting - am I the only one stuck ? The bottom LH corner is almost empty ! Will someone please give me a hint about 23 ac "double trouble when mutt`s about to make bomb" (9) and 20 ac "Fusspot putting label in lake? On the contrary" (8). I only have one letter in each!

23a) the definition is bomb. Think of an anagram of double with another name for mutt (with 3 letters)

20a) the definition is fusspot. Think of another name for label and then put an "L" in it.

Andy, I don't do this crossword but saw the answer to 20 A - but I felt the 'lake' should be put in the 'label'. Hope this makes sense!
