I've looked in Chambers, and can't find anything that fits. Is this the Jumbo cryptic? If so, I can download it and have a look.

This is the puzzle that appears each Sat in The Australian. I don't know whether it can be downloaded. (Solution following Sat)

I also don't know why it is referred to as "The Sunday Times (682)" puzzle.

good luck!

Sorry - I can't. I thought you meant the UK S. Times - I belong to their crossword club, and could have downloaded it. Good luck to you then. It may then be an Australian phrase - there's nothing in Chambers. I expect someone else will pick up this thread later and help you.

Thanks for trying. Now at least the reason I knew "Woolongambi" is obvious. Blue Moutains in Australia (NSW). Good day!
