Thanks, Syzygy, enjoyed. Found it a bit trickier than some of the recent ones. Last in was Border (i) but I quite liked the clue.

nearly missed this, thanx syzzie. realised i'd missed the last letter of 9d so i bunged a 'c' in, it looks right.
