Grown at last - N inside Kip, reversed.

Not quite fair - "in bed raised" might be "kip" (I'm going for a kip); growN last in it.

Last letter of 'grown' in 'kip' written upwards (ie raised).

Thanks mamya - I didn't know it actually meant "bed" in Scots - the clue is pretty fair then (though no Scots indication?)

I'm North West and we say I'm off to my kip - but you have a point.

"I'm going for a kip" here tends to mean a nap rather than bedtime - I'm northwestish too!

Hi, ChrisE and Mamya. Chambers gives kip as " a bed".
