The full clue really helps those who haven't got the puzzle, as it happens I answered that yesterday elsewhere so spotted it.

I had pretty well decided on QUAVER as it can mean a shakiness, but hadn't worked it out. So thanks very much. I hate entering an answer without understanding it.
