I can't imagine why if you have registered that you shouldn't be able to post in the normal way.

What happens when you try?

It states that there is a long running script that is preventing me,
but does not tell me how to cancel it.

I'm not in the least bit technical so I can't advise - I think that's a Microsoft issue that some people have.

Try Googling 'Long running script' and look for solutions for your particular browser.
