31a Make delicate slice of artichoke with sesame in chopped olives (10) V??AT????? Could it be volatilise? I see the "chopped olives" bit but not the rest??

volatilise means make delicate (chambers) but I don't get the slice of artichoke with sesame bit
Other clue is insectile meaning buggy
