Hi. Can anyone explain the 'came' part of this clue?

Came worked with woman from Lufthansa for example = AIRC-E- (gotta be aircrew).

Don't rule out the possibility of a misprint - it's been known.

It could be a misprint as you say. Carrie instead of Came would work better. Carrie worked (=anagram) with woman =w.
