Is this "beguineing"?! I think all my Down clues are ok, and the "beguine" is a dance. How this fits the clue beats me though. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks, Chris.

I think the answer is SEQUENCING.

hi Chris, i think Pauline is right..the end of the answer "in the middle of the night", i think, is made up of IN plus G, being literally the middle letter of "night", rather than a reference to evening
