Have about half the answers.

7th down: Gravitation used with Italian capital to produce measuring device used there

Want it to be HYGROMETER, but can't reconcile the Y for the E? Perhaps totally wrong - hint appreciated

5 letter word, split into 1 and 4, the 4 being the italian for a capital city.
I could use help with the second, third and third from last across clues

Third across. Lump is def (obscure def). Generic name for a small motorboat with letter A removed. (5)
Third from last. Becomes unclear is def. Initials for bill of sale around a very old musical instrument (5)

crackabilly - you need the Italian version of its capital not the English, with the G in front
