Hi I'm new to this forum :)

I'm after help on a Cryptic Crossword:

Greeting hides brace-up in famous magician (7)

and

A horse and sheep could be confused (7)

I have no letters on both yet.....

A horse... Anagram, A Nag and a Ram.

I should have said that Houdini was Duo (brace), reversed ('up') inside ('hides') Hi ('greeting').

PS. It's easier to reply if you give the clues numbers, any numbers. It's also quite good to say which crossword it is, which magazine or newspaper it's from.

.........if you enter ANAGRAM into Google, it comes up with the helpful message "Did you mean NAG A RAM?"

So it does, Chris........of course I had to go and try it!

have you tried typing;
do a barrel roll
into google?

'course I tried that one, too, Trev........ no comment, we'll leave it to folk to find out for themselves........
