Hi Rossim- so excited to get this close to a result on this pig of a problem that I forgot the basics.
The clue is :Stage director strangely makes actor -set.
Take out actor set to leave my quandary
The director might (conceivably) ask an actor to DERIG the set ('dismantle and remove (equipment, esp sound and lighting gear'). 'Redig' (which wouldn't provide an adequate 'definition')doesn't appear in Chambers.
I have enjoyed this so far, have got the key word. I'm stuck bottom left, five left to do and not making any progress now. Help with 26d would be great, clue or answer!
