Physic is also a noun (old word for a doctor)
Who, in the past, would be caring for a sick relative ?

Is there a kind of joke in there, too, as "past caring" means just losing the wish to care

.......but he could caring for anyone so why relative?

Could be something to do with physics and relativity but I'm not into Einstein!

Oh dear!
I'm out in the garden while I have the chance. I needed a laugh.
Have a good day.
