Hi all - can anyone help pse?
56a clue: sort of collector to show irritability when faced with debtor?
Ans is d?e?g? - probably 'dredge' but I can't see any connection to the clue...

Dr (abbreviation of debtor) + edge (irritable,i.e. on edge).

Terry, tks for that. I followed the same sort of reasoning, but I wasn't entirely convinced. Maybe this light just isn't well clued. "to show irritability" or even just "irritability" should be "edgy" not edge. And where is debtor abbreviated to dr? I've never come across it before. Still, I don't know everything...
