1d is the name of a dog minus B at the front
21d is a term for nobility minus C inside

Hi Devonian
5 is a tv soap - first 4 letters are a type of wheat + a name for a valley
8a defn is name for a fool - single letter meaning about + what a camel has
19 answer sounds like a collection of trees - defn is used to (don't like this clue)

Thanks Chrise. Had managed 1d once I thought of golfing term. Don't like 21d much nor, like you, 19d.
