Good Morning and a Happy New Year to all quizzers.
Is any one doing this quiz from Rainbow Charities and how are you getting on?

Hi, Lady Bee, good to know you've done so many.

Can you give any help on 2 of the clues?
6. Attempt to protect fourth-rate card (4)
19. European flower - one losing head - and he does the cutting. (4)

I'm not a card player and find most of this quiz baffling, though I have managed to Brag about Patience.

Thanks - in hope.

The player who cuts the cards is the definition. The flower is a short-named Italian river+ one without its head....

1. The whole word means plenty and in it is a 3 letter hairstyle and ends with a five letter word for a ball (not sporting ball).

Any hints please for No.18 - Neat killer turned to drama (7)
