Could you please help with the last two clues.

29D. Involving motion in one direction (7) U?I?L??
and
43A. Scourge, steal (4) [W]?I?

My best guess is UNIFLOW and WHIP, respectively (assuming UNIFLOW is correct for 29D). I am not entirely convinced by my own answers. Can anyone please confirm or provide better answers.

yes to both, i think.

a scourge is a whip and to whip something can mean steal it.
