Ah, the old 6s & 7s.

Found this online, unlocked. The solution was not available so have posted mine, 2 pages, grid & actual answers. When it becomes available will add the official solution with parsing on this thread.

Thanks again syzygy, I enjoy this format even if there is a heavy reliance on anagrams this time which makes it on the easy side. That said, iI particularly like the surface of 6 (b) & 7 (h).

Easy but fun, although I'm with ginge; I don't care for anagrams. Thanks, syzzie.

I like 7J!

I can't get started on the top, even though I have solved most of the 6 and 7 letter clues because I am being totally stupid over the 4 and 5 ones
Please could someone give me a hint about 12 ac or 28 ac. I have complete blindness regarding homophones.

Hi Rosalind,
definitions are Deer (plural) and Leaning. 28 isn't a homophone.

Hi Rosalind, the definitions in both are the first words in the clues. 12 is a homophone, whereas 28 the "over" is the usual reversed indicator, written within with an alteration instruction. Hope this helps.
