I've completed the April puzzle, but the full wordplay on on clue eludes me ...

4d Fury, finding beer clubs closed? (6) A?E?T?

Answer ALECTO (one of the 3 Furies).

Ale = beer, but then I'm confused and would appreciate any suggestions.

ale c to

c = clubs
closed = shut = to

c - clubs(deck of cards)
to shut a door is yo pull it closed TO.
