Are you sure that the answer to "chap between a rock and a hard place" isn't "PIG - in - the - middle"? meaning a person caught between opposing viewpoints, strategies etc

How do you know that 'team leader' is incorrect?

answering this clue allows me to get to the next level in a game I'm testing, so when I enter the correct answer it will show up as correct.
tried Teamleader and Ringleader but doesn't accept either, could be the game is faulty but ive been told its not.

The only word off this one is, Man in the Middle, so I know that the 6th letter is E.
