The detailed layout or proof surely needs a noun as an answer. I have worked in the printing business all my life but cannot think of a word of 13 letters (whether beginning with C or anything else) used in this context. Very frustrating. It's impossible to do the crossword at all without this clue as the clues are unnumbered and one has to work out where all the answers go...
