I'm stuck with two in the SE corner as follows:-

Minister is scoundrel when meeting goddess (6)

( _ _ R _ _ _ )

messing about one is one of the poets(word for messing about less a G)

alt clue for other...dog satisfied hunger

Help! stuck on 14d ..english business person left squashed with area inadequate for display 8 letters

I think the E above (from Brooke) could be an S but, I'm stumped.
