Hi all, here's two posers...

Arrival, God willing, in neat convertible = advent.
Suitable face of marble omitted from former gable = expedient.

Many thanks.

Hello Pook - deo volente - god willing in latin in anagram of neat

ex - old pediment minus the m for face of marble

Cheers

ADVENT - DV (Deo volente = God Willing) inside AENT (anagram of neat)

EXPEDIENT = EX (former) + PEDIMENT (gable) - M (face of marble)
