The answers all relate to the animal world, any help clues or answers would be greatly appreciated.

1. Rock and roll au reviour and response (3,3,5,9-2,1,5,9) not sure if the first half is "its the final countdown" but cannot relate to animals
2. "A horse designed by committee" (5)
3. A time of peace and happiness (7,4)
4. From 3rd July to 11th August (3,4) again nor sure but star signs spring to mind and al I can think is "the crab" as in cancer the crab, but the dates don't match
5 Used for decorative haircombs (13) yet again all I can come up with is butterfly-clip, letters are enough but I thought this was two words
