63. Wild bears have time to go to pains to get the bags.(11) 86.Thoughts of heroes were as good as these at providing a comfortable retirement (7.4) Any clues please? Answers are all containers of some kind. It may seem early to ask but I don't get much opportunity to use this site. Thanks.

Ask when you like but please at least put Rainbow quiz (closes May 31st) in the title as you are obviously well aware that lots of people will think it is too soon which is why I guess you didnt put the full title but putting rainbow would help others too

Brain shutting down at 11.15pm, can't even work number 63 out from those great clues! Will have to face it tomorrow evening if I get time. Have only solved 53 of them so far but plenty of time to go. Glad to give a few clues if anyone needs them......I emphasise the word clues, not answers, before we get threatened by the disapprovers!

63.Another clue......Cavalry mans purse (Strange word, never heard of it before, but feel sure this is the answer)
I am gradually propgressing but would welcome clues on the following
14. Chelsea pensioners without a drink (3,8)
19. It can provide a drink in an American club - during a card game (9)
50. Severe test was staged by the man who could have made a rum thriller (3,8)

Hi Springfield.....I'd already got that one...19 is a card game and also an American club as in a weapon. You'll find it if you google although it was in my Collins dictionary. Haven't got the other one myself. Good luck to all
