Apologies if these queries have been answered already, but I couldn't find any mention of them on here.

42a: Creating a range of reversals initially with film run backwards (8). The letters I have are O - O - E - I - .

24a: Note sent over about tea being cool is not to this one's taste (7). The answer I have is HOTHEAD. I can parse most of it (TEA in DOH reversed), but I can't figure out where the extra H comes from.

41d: We left marks around pine tree (5,3). The answer I have is WITCH ELM - but am I alone in thinking this spelling is incorrect? I've only ever seen it spelled WYCH.

All help gratefully received!

Thank you chrisg - that's very helpful.

Can anyone explain the reasoning behind OROGENIC? I can see "CINE" reversed, but what about the rest of it?

OR are the initials of Of Reversals, so I suppose GO is "run"? Not convinced.
