Sempstress at last turned up clothes

is it togs? why? or is it toga?

clothes = togs
semptress last = s
turn up = go
maybe turned up = got...not sure!

Maybe I should add that I do this on line and "togs" was accepted as being correct.

Turned can mean got - eg. it just got/turned cold.

I'd like to believe you are right! Past experience would suggest you are not.

The reason I don't buy the DM anymore is because of clues like these.
Not a nice challenge and poor beyond belief to what I thought used to be a very clever enjoyable Xword.

I have no idea if the setter has changed or not.
But I have swapped my tabloid until I see what I think are decent and challenging (not obscure) clues again.
Without the aid of a PC.

Is there any regular DM challengers out there that does'nt use a PC or some other form of Xword help to complete the grid ?
I truely would be surprised if there is.

Hence, where is the challenge ? Surely the challenge only lays with how to use a PC.
I want to use my mind.

Azed, Mephisto and the like are for those who like an indepth challege.
Bring back the old DM.

I think emf rattles it off quite quickly!
