Having a bit of a brain fade on last 2

18a "Lost easy matches in Lincoln possibly? (2,3,4,3,2) ?? THE ?A?E ?A? B? ; should be able to get this from the crossers but just can't see it.

Also, 2d "Open space, pens for badger - an urban space?" (7,8); S?O?A?E ?A???I?Y
Can only think of STORAGE FACILITY but seems weak and can't parse it

18 is an anagram ('lost') of 'easy matches' and 'Abe' (Lincoln).

...and storage capacity is an anagram of space with to rag (badger) inside + a city (urban space)
