I trawled (no pun intended) through every lifeboat station in the UK to see what weird and wonderful names they had bestowed upon their boats - usually named after someone famous or a benefactor, but to no avail.

Your answer matches the clue but what that is to do with a lifeboat is beyond me. Well done.
