I have enjoyed Araucaria's latest offering but when I came to the last corner I have been stumped
by two clues. "Girl or county(you can tell which in Welsh"). This is 7 letters and I have G---E-H
- could this be GORLECH which I know is an area in Wales?
The other clue is:- "Fool playing with clue for toga" and that's two words of 5 & 4. I have:-
G-D-- -O-T. Been scratching my head on this one!
Can any kind soul please help?

25ac - definitely Gwyneth (girl's name)and sub refers to the county of Gwynedd which is pronounced the same as the girl's name.
'DD' pronounced 'TH' in Welsh.

Many thanks to Andy and Mamya! Yes, of course! The county is Gywnedd! For the crossword this becomes "Gwyneth", the pronunciation of it, and also the girl's name. And I just kept being obsessed with "coat" for toga and never thought of "goat", an anagram of toga! Thanks again.
