I have a two word arc starting on row 5. Is this one of the larger arcs?

There is one on that row but in my dictionary it is one word that starts with b and ends in e

Thanks DJ, yes I. See that it can be read as all one word.

No.

Think of how the typical figure looks.

You have the biggest arc.

They are all synonyms.

The six smaller arcs form one word.

Share you still around? Been staring at grid all evening but still no further than largest arc, even though I know what to look for. Hint as to where second arc starts?

From the middle downwards beginning with P, ending in S. Remember it's a (biological) synonym for that part of the body you see in the cartoons in that position. And the other 6, left and right, in one row, make up a single-word synonym for what you see there.

Second arc is inside first. 9 letters going the other way compared to the first you have. In case you can't see it.

Indebted to both of you. Just by the way, I love the way the down clues statement works.
